1.give  /ɡɪv/ v. 给

give me/her/him/them/us...

 

give sb. sth.=give sth. to sb. 

give me a book=give a book to me

2. one /wʌn/ 

1). 作为数词

I have one brother and two sisters.（我有一个兄弟和两个姐妹。）

2). 作为代词

Give me that one. 

this one/that one 这一个/那一个

3. which 哪一个

Which book do you want to read ? 你想读哪一本书？

4. empty 空的

The bottle is empty. 瓶子是空的。

5. full 满的

The glass is full of water. 杯子里装满了水。

I'm full. 我饱了。

a full time job 一份全职工作

6. large 大的（强调面积）

This room is large. 这房间很大。

China is a large country. 中国是一个幅员辽阔的国家。

7. little 小的

a little girl 一个小女孩（可爱的）

8. sharp 尖的，锋利的

The knife is sharp. 这刀很锋利。

9. blunt 钝的

The knife is blunt. 这刀很钝的。

10. box 盒子，箱子

11. glass 玻璃杯    

a glass of water 一杯水

12. cup 茶杯

a cup of tea 一杯茶

13. bottle 瓶子

water bottle 水瓶

14. tin 罐头瓶，易拉罐

15. knife 刀子   

复数 knives

16. fork 叉子

17. spoon 勺子

中西方人不同的餐饮工具：

中国：碗+ 筷   bowls and chopsticks

西方：刀+叉  knives and forks

Lesson 21 课文讲解
 

1. Give me a book please, Jane. 请拿本书给我，简。

这是一个祈使句，省略了主语you。祈使句表示请求或命令。表示客气的请求时，通常加please.

 

仿造句子：

Give them some food.

Buy me an ipad.

Send her a present.

Bring us some books. 
 

2. Which book? 哪一本？

是Which book do you want?的省略形式。

3. This one? 是这本吗？=This book?

相当于：Do you want this one?  one是不定代词，代替 a book,以避免重复。one的复数形式是ones.

-Which one do you want? 你想要哪一个？

-The red one, please. 请给我那个红色的。

4. Here you are. 给你。（单复数都可以用）

Here it is. (用于单数）

Here they are. (用于复数）

Lesson 21 语法讲解

1.双宾语句型

 

英语中，有些及物动词可接两个宾语（双宾语），即指人的间接宾语和指物的直接宾语。常用句型为：主语+及物动词+间接宾语+直接宾语。如：

She gave me a cup of tea. 她给了我一杯茶。

直接宾语（物）和间接宾语 （人）

give me/her/him/them/us...

give sb. sth.=give sth. to sb. 

give me a book=give a book to me

give them some apples=give some apples to them 

仿造句子：Give them some food.

Buy me an ipad.

Send her a present.

Bring us some books. 

 

2. which 引导的特殊疑问句

-Which season do you like best? 你最喜欢哪个季节？

-Autumn. 秋天

-Which car do you like best? 你最喜欢哪辆车？

-The red one. -红色的那辆。

-Which color do you like? 你喜欢哪个颜色？

-I like red because it is pretty. 我喜欢红色，因为它很漂亮 。

Which is your bag?=Which bag is yours? 哪一个书包是你的？

 

3. 人称代词的主格，宾格，形容词性物主代词复习

Lesson 21-22 词义辨析

1. large与big

large 主要指体积、面积、形状、数量方面的大，修饰人时指个子大。

 

China is a large country. 中国是一个幅员辽阔的国家。

Look at that large woman in white. 瞧那个身穿白色衣服、个子高大的女人。
 

2. big 所表示的大，主要指不仅体积大而且很重。所以a large box 未必big。big在修饰人时，主要指大人物，但个子未必高大。

It is a big house. 这是一所大房子。（此句指不仅体积大，而且给人深刻的或结实的印象。）

She's very big in the filmdom. 她在电影节是个响当当的人物。 （此句指不仅成功，而且具有很大的影响力。）
 

2. small 与 little

"small" 和 "little" 都有 "小的" 的意思，但是用法略有不同。

"small" 通常用于描述尺寸、大小方面的事物，是large的反义词，不带什么感情色彩。

This is a small room.  这是一个小房间。

It is a small factory. 这是一个小工厂。

little 也表示小或少，但有小而可爱的感情色彩，是big的反义词。

She has a little sister. 她有个小妹妹。

There is a little garden behind our house. 我们的屋后有个小花园。（此句表示花园虽小，但很可爱。）
